How old does my child need to be for sewing lessons?
Children must be 6 years old to start sewing at La La Sew. The first step is the Beginner Sewing class. After that they can sign up for any other classes.
Does my child need to take Beginner Sewing first?

What does my child need to bring to class?
Yes! Beginner Sewing is the first step! In this class they will learn basic machine safety, how to sew straight, turn corners and back stitch, among other things. Then they will make a fun project to take home. After Beginner Sewing, your child can take any other La La Sew classes.
How do I find out about new classes?
Do you teach adults?

No. At La La Sew, we teach KIDS how to sew! If you’d like to learn to sew WITH your child, you can take our Parent/Child classes.
Can I stay for my child’s sewing class?

What is your cancelation policy?
La La Sew classes are drop-off classes.
All materials and equipment are provided. In some more advanced classes, kids will bring their own fabric or there may be a materials fee added.
Cancelations received 4 weeks prior to class will receive a refund, minus a 20% administrative fee. Later cancelations will not receive a refund.
How does your waitlist work?
To receive an automated email when a spot opens up in a sold out class, click on the SOLD OUT class and you will find a spot to add your email. You will automatically receive an email if a spot in the class becomes available.
